I’ve never really been big on Valentine’s. I mean, it’s just another day, people decide to make it the day to treat their girl like a princess, but they should do that everyday, not just once a year. I don’t really need any gifts or any kind of ginormous displays of affection. I got to spend the day with the person I love, and to share my first real accomplishment in writing, which is my passion. I got the Gold Key award for one of the best writing pieces in HISD. And now, my short story is going to New York to National level. I’m excited! :D
